Traffic Safety and Memorial Walk in Santa Maria

The Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office is hosting its second annual Traffic Safety and Memorial Walk on October 11th in Santa Maria.  The 1-mile long walk remembers and honors the victims of traffic causalities with further goals of raising awareness to the dangers and risks of dangerous driving.

The Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office is appealing to the Parks & Rec department to implement a permanent memorial at Preisker Park in Santa Maria to honor these victims.  All proceeds for this walk will go towards making this memorial should approval be granted.

Date: Saturday October 11, 2014 

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

1st Walk: 11: 00 a.m., check in at 10:30am
2nd Walk: 12:00 p.m., check in at 11:30 am
3rd Walk: 1:00 p.m., check in at 12:30 pm

Cost:  
Adults: $15
Adults with a Dog: $10
Children 7 and above: $10
Children under 7: Free
